Dark red wine, with notes of small red fruits, cherries and pepper. Medium bodied with a juicy and spicy finish.
Vines are in the heart of Western Sicily at approx. 150 m. a.s.l. Vines are planted facing south following the trellis system on a medium textured sandy soil . Guyot pruning.
Mechanical harvest in mid-September. De-stemming and skin maceration for 8 days in stainless steel vats at 25°C. Soft press. Fermentation in stainless steel and bottle ageing for 3 months.
