Our People

Curatolo Arini is a family business. Today, Vito’s dream is kept alive by his grandson and great-grandchildren. It is our legacy. Each of us has a deep respect for those who have worked the vines before us.

Roberto Curatolo

Son of Leonardo and grandson of Vito Curatolo Arini, Roberto joined the family business in 1962 after finishing his Law studies in Roma. Today he looks after the financial and legal aspects of the business, and shares responsibility for leading Curatolo Arini with his cousin Sergio. Roberto is as passionate about books as he is about wine, and loves relaxing to the sounds of opera and classical music.

Sergio Curatolo

The great-grandson of Vito, Sergio abandoned his Engineering studies in Palermo to join the business in 1974, when his father, Vito, passed away. Today he takes care of the commercial side of the business. A lover of good wine and fine food, Sergio has a passion for speed – especially fast cars and boats.

Riccardo Curatolo

Following his father’s steps, Roberto’s son Riccardo studied Law and then completed a master degree in Fiscal Law. After working as a lawyer for some years, his interest and passion for wine could no longer be sated, and in 2008 he decided to settle in Marsala and join his family in the company. Today he supervises production at Curatolo Arini. He loves the Sicilian sea and when he’s not working you’ll find him chilling out or kite surfing on the Egadi Islands.

Alexandra Curatolo

After living in her adored Spain for almost 8 years, Alexandra has recently decided to return to her first love, Sicily, joining the family business as our Marketing Manager. She has studied Marketing and Languages in Urbino, and completed her studies with a Master degree in International Trade in Valencia. When not travelling or working she will probably be searching for the best spot for board paddling around Marsala’s beautiful coast line.

Victoria Curatolo

Victoria, Sergio’s daughter, studied languages in Palermo and then left Sicilia to see the world and improve her language skills. After a year in France, she moved to London where she worked in wine and hospitality. In 2008 she too decided to join her family in the business, maintaining her base abroad and acting as a Brand Ambassador. A ‘foodie’ like her father, she loves travelling and learning about other people and their cultures.

Antonino Reina

Our wonderful winemaker. To us he is ‘Nino’ and he is as passionate as we are about wine. Born and raised in a family of winemakers, Nino started to work in wine at 21. Before joining us here at Curatolo Arini he worked for many years for wineries including Rallo Sicilia and Marzotto. He tells us what makes us special is our friendly, family focused approach to work and the rich history and heritage of the Curatolo Arini brand. He loves to travel but is always lured back to the place he calls home, a place as colourful and perfumed as his wine.

Carlo Montalto

Carlo is Curatolo Arini’s Sales Coordinator. He joined us in 2000 at the turn of the new millennium and has been helping us take the business forward ever since. When he’s working he’s kept busy taking our Marsala and still wines to all four corners of the world. But in his free time, you’ll most likely find this music aficionado strumming his guitar in his own corner of the winery.
