Marsala Educational for Students


Marsala Educational continues: 6 Marsala producers meet the students of the Abele Damiani Institute in Marsala. After a small lecture on Marsala wine, its history and regulations, the students were invited to try 6 different types of Marsala.
Every glass had a special food match, created by the students of the Institute. As an example of a perfect aperitif, a chilled Marsala Vergine was paired with warm dates and bacon, Marsala Superiore Secco with “Tagliancozzi” biscotti, Marsala Superiore Riserva with “Cassateddre” fig cakes, Marsala Superiore Dolce with Cassata Siciliana, Marsala Ruby with dark chocolate, and finally Marsala Vergine again with baked ricotta cheese and gorgonzola canapés.
