With a group of Marsala producers we have a new aim: teaching to the on trade staff how to drink Marsala! We have organized the first “educational” together with an association of young restaurant and wine bar managers, with the objective of giving to their staff the tools to talk about Marsala wine. After describing the history, the production process, the different types of Marsala wine we can have and the perfect food parings, we offered to the “pupils” a complete Marsala tasting of 5 different Marsalas. Result: a success! We ‘re already looking forward to organizing the 2nd educational in September.
